Villa Palagio is easily accessible by car via the A1 Motorway (Autostrada A1). Depending on where you are driving from, the recommended exits are Incisa-Reggello or Firenze Sud.
The nearest railway station is Rignano sull'Arno-Reggello, located just a few minutes away from the property.
From Florence Santa Maria Novella (SMN) Station: There are frequent direct regional trains connecting Florence to Rignano sull'Arno in about 30-35 minutes.
From Rignano station, you can reach the Relais in just a few minutes by taxi or, if you are traveling light, via a short walk.
For guests arriving by plane, Villa Palagio is conveniently located near Tuscany's two main airports:
Florence "Amerigo Vespucci" Airport (FLR) – ~35 km:
By car: About 35-40 minutes via the A1 motorway (heading Rome, exit at Incisa-Reggello or Firenze Sud).
By public transport: You can take the tramway (Line T2) from the airport to Florence Santa Maria Novella railway station, and from there take a regional train to Rignano sull’Arno.
Pisa International Airport "Galileo Galilei" (PSA) – ~120 km:
By car: About 1 hour and 40 minutes taking the S.G.C. FI-PI-LI highway towards Florence, then merging onto the A1 motorway towards Rome (exit at Incisa-Reggello).
By public transport: The Pisa Mover shuttle train connects the airport to Pisa Centrale station. From there, you can catch a train to Florence Santa Maria Novella (where you will transfer to the Rignano line).
