Set in the Tuscan countryside near Florence, Villa Pitiana is a destination wedding venue where couples can bring family and friends together for a multi-day wedding celebration in one beautiful estate.
The estate offers 55 rooms and apartments, accommodating up to 140 guests on site, with breakfast included. Having everyone stay together allows couples and their guests to enjoy more than just the wedding day, sharing welcome gatherings, celebrations and relaxed moments throughout their stay.
A minimum stay of two nights is required for all wedding bookings. Whether the estate is booked on an Exclusive Use or Partial Use basis, Villa Pitiana hosts only one wedding during each wedding stay, allowing the couple and their guests to enjoy their celebrations without another wedding taking place at the property during the same stay.
Villa Pitiana offers an indoor Plan B for rain or unsuitable weather, with the Villa's historic frescoed halls and indoor reception spaces providing an elegant alternative to outdoor settings. This allows the wedding celebration to continue comfortably indoors if weather conditions change.
For Exclusive Use weddings, indoor celebrations and dancing are not subject to a fixed venue curfew. Outdoor music is permitted until 11:30 pm, allowing couples to enjoy their garden and terrace celebrations before continuing the party indoors.
From the English-style gardens and panoramic terraces to the pool area, historic cloister and frescoed indoor halls, Villa Pitiana offers a variety of settings for different moments of a destination wedding. Couples can choose from these spaces for their ceremony, welcome events, wedding reception and dancing, creating a celebration that unfolds across the estate
A dedicated in-house wedding planner and coordinator is included in the venue rental, supporting the couple throughout the planning process and coordinating arrangements with the Villa team and wedding suppliers. From the initial planning stages through to the wedding day, this support helps bring the different elements of the celebration together at the estate.
Villa Pitiana is an official municipal venue for legally recognised civil wedding ceremonies. Couples can therefore celebrate their civil marriage at the estate, combining the legal ceremony and wedding reception in the same Tuscan setting.
Set in the rolling hills of the Valdarno, just outside Florence, Villa Pitiana is a historic Tuscan villa and destination wedding venue surrounded by 20 hectares of gardens, olive groves and ancient woodland.
Originally built as a fortified farm and later home to a Benedictine community, the estate was transformed into an elegant noble residence in the 19th century. Today, Villa Pitiana retains its historic character through frescoed rooms, antique furnishings, original architectural details and its distinctive English-style arboretum.

All wedding catering and beverage services at Villa Pitiana are provided by the Villa's in-house culinary team.
Our wedding menus are based on fresh, seasonal and locally sourced ingredients, with a strong focus on authentic Italian and Tuscan cuisine. The Villa offers an established selection of wedding menus designed to suit the different events of a destination wedding.
Couples can choose from the Villa's available options for the different events of their stay, including welcome dinners, BBQs, pizza parties, brunches, formal wedding receptions and late-night refreshments.
The in-house kitchen and wedding team coordinate the food and beverage service across the different events of the celebration, with agreed dietary requirements taken into consideration during the planning process.
