Villa cookery links the past and the present by changing traditional local recipes making them lighter and quicker in preparation and adding an elegant display.
Villa Pitiana organises Tuscan and Italian cooking courses for small groups (from 2 to 12 persons max) divided in 3 complexity and time levels. Courses take place in the monastery kitchen whose colours and furniture are completely renovated. The adjacent monks’ refectory has been restored into a comfortable dining hall to taste what has been prepared.
Courses usually take place in the morning over 3 hours: our chef teaches participants how to prepare, cook, and display dishes, how they meet with wines and gives papers of recipes (interpreter available on request). Courses end with savouring the dishes prepared and the appropriate wine.
